About this product

Hailing from the home of the Nero d'Avola grape variety, this robust Nero from Feudo Principi di Butera could almost be mistaken for Shiraz such is the richness and voluptuousness of this wine. Dry cherries, dark chocolate and masses of ripe plums dominate a smooth & textured palate with lovely generosity and velvety tannins.

Nero D'Avolo are great medium-bodied reds and this is the best of them at Dan's. Perfect casual drinking. Lovely fruit, gentle tannins and long clean finish. Excellent value.

I am not usually a red wine drinker but being recommended this, I am converted. I have mine chilled which I feel enhances the flavour. Fantastic with tomato pasta dishes.
