Fer, a French variety from the south of France, oft producing wines of dark-fruit characters and soft tannins. This is true to its fruit origins, but this is a big, bulky, dense and intense iteration. Plenty of structuring tannins (likely oak derived) and loads of interest, but it's a very big wine ... Raspberry, red licorice, turmeric and pepper.
