California Chardonnay

Established in 1985, Decoy is recognized for producing attractively priced wines from exceptional vineyard sources, including Decoy's own Ridgeline and Brownell estate vineyards in the Alexander Valley. The winemaking program is guided by acclaimed Winemaker Dana Epperson, who is an expert at working with multiple grape varieties across multiple regions. The Decoy lineup includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay. California encompasses an array of microclimates, soil types, elevations and terroirs, yielding a unique and appealing expression of Chardonnay. This deliciously bright and inviting Chardonnay offers enticing aromatics of sweet citrus, Fuji apple, and peach that mingle with lovely notes of custard and vanilla. On the palate, bright acidity leads to beautiful layers of citrus, baking spices, and hints of vanilla, carrying the wine to a lengthy finish.
