Vintage 2018
92 points
Produced on elevated ground in the Limoux region of southern France, the 2018 immediately displays more elegance, fragrance and "pinosity" than previous vintages. It seems that the maker is really getting a handle on the variety and the site. At this price it provides impressive complexity and great value for the pinot drinker. Charming and balanced, there's soft, ripened red fruit, kirsch notes, light spices and even a touch of tobacco leaf. The tannins of previous vintages have been tamed, allowing the fresh pinot noir fruit full expression.
