Not being familiar with the variety, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this is lovely. Fresh clean crisp fruit that tingles on the tongue. So good… it will be a regular.

2019 Excellent but 2020 Inferior

The 2019 was an excellent wine but the recent tasting of current shelf stock (2020) is disappointing. Maybe it was two bad bottles but I doubt it. Thin, no depth and a palate that was not enjoyable.

A Gruner from Marlborough? Had to try. Most Gruners we’ve tried have been interesting… generally some body, interesting fruit, nice finish. Oh oh…. Not THIS one! Nasty chemical taste, dead fruit, obviously an “industrial” wine and reminisce
