1983. Legend has it that an unnamed supermodel walked into a bar and asked for something that we are not allowed to print on the side of a Fast Moving Consumer Good. Of course, it was a man named Dick who delivered, and the espresso martini was born. We took Dick’s idea and bumped it up a notch or 700. Maker coffee roasted in Melbourne, soaked in vodka for 72 hours, cut to 30 percent ABV, sweetened just enough to seduce, and finished with a flick of dark chocolate. It's dry, bitter, complex and full-bodied - the kind of drink that shows up uninvited and somehow becomes the best part of your night. Keep it cold. Sip it shamelessly. Pour it over ice if you're feeling hot under the collar. Or shake it into an espresso martini and thank Dick for everything that happens next.
