A&W Riesling

A delicate yet fragrant nose, showing pink grape fruit characters, backed by some delicate passion fruit and floral notes. There is a slatey, minerality that typifies the granite soils of the Porongurups. The palate shows the wonderful delicacy of the variety, with low phenolics and a pure and long, focussed structure. The pink grapefruit characters flow through the length of the palate, while the natural acidity is powerful and feature of this wine. It is however, a perfectly balanced Riesling by Castle Rock that provides a finish that is fine, long, clean and refreshing.
