Neil McguiganSignature Hunter Valley Shiraz
About this product
Colour. Medium brick red with purple hues. Nose: Lifted savoury notes of briary blackcurrant and raspberries complemented by spicy but restrained oak. Palate: The palate delivers a medium weighted red wine that exbibits red fruits and spice balanced by soft but persistent tannins. Ageing: This is a typical Hunter Valley Shiraz made into the traditional Hunter Valley Red Burgundy style of the 1970's. It is savoury, soft, spicy and very drinkable now but will age gracefully for the next 5 years.
