This is a nebbiolo with a significant amount of spread to both the flavour and to the tannin, which of course is exactly what you want to see with nebbiolo. Firmness, texture, dryness and length – this wine has all these bases covered. It tastes of licorice, camphor, woodsmoke, leather and cardamon seeds and at every turn (especially given the chance to breathe) it feels authoritative.
