About this product

Made from one of the oldest Languedoc grapes, Belardent is an outstanding white wine from the Mediterranean sea shores. Carefully crafted according to Appellation winemaking specification, it also benefits from the winemaking history of its production area. Refreshing, it has lovely aromas of citrus and mineral flavours that will get along perfectly with seafood delights! The Picpoul de Pinet winegrowing area runs along the southern French coast, separated from the waves of the Mediterranean only by the Etang de Thau. This lagoon is France’s second largest lake. Harboured by the town of Sète, it is famous for its delicious oysters that are the perfect combination for a Picpoul Pinet.
The Picpoul de Pinet terroir consists of a triangle bounded by Agde, Pézenas and Sète : a limestone plateau basking in the rising sun covered with highly perfumed garrigue, rows of vines, and scattered pine groves. Thanks to its terroir, the region produces mineral wines with lovely and refreshing citrus aromas.
