About this product

The story of La Chablisienne begins back in 1923. Under the leadership of Abbé Balitrand, a number of winegrowers joined forces to better withstand the economic difficulties of the period. Together, in the middle of the Chablis vineyards, they created a cooperative winery to market their wines. The appellation of Petit Chablis represents 20 percent of Chablis wines, covering all the communes of Chablis and multiple slopes and aspects.Pale gold in colour with silvery hues, very expressive on the nose with notes of ripe fruit (apricot) and a more mineral base with hints of "gunflint". The palate opens up lively and fresh, revealing a lovely, juicy wine with good density. An elegant and uncomplicated wine, and an ideal introduction to the freshness and purity that is Chablis. Ideal as an aperitif, or to accoompany any seafood platter.
