Exotic aromatics introduce this cabernet (60%) shiraz (40%) blend. A warm, generous flowing river of ripe and unctuous black and red fruit wrapped snugly in vanilla and dark chocolate oak, then finished with noteworthy silky tannins. A seamless, totally enjoyable red right now, with the ability to improve over 5 to 10 years. Heart and soul Barossa stuff.

Medium deep crimson. Fresh blackcurrant, black berry, dark plum, dark chocolate aromas with herb garden/ chinotto notes. Well concentrated claret style with attractive blackcurrant, blackberry fruits, fine grainy/ touch al dente tannins and underlying dark chocolate/ mocha notes. Finishes cedar firm and inky with very good mineral length. Elegantly styled rather than being overly powerful. Keep for a while and it should develop very well. Drink now – 2032 14.5% alc 94+ points
