About this product

La Villette is an old district of Paris where the main food and wine market supplying the city used to be located. It was a very animated area where Parisians used to get together in some famous bistros reputed for their fresh food and good wines.

This medium bodied Vin de France red has all of the requisite red fruited and floral fragrance "cab franc" is renowned for. The red fruit flavours are succulent and juicy.  It's an "easy drinking" wine best enjoyed over the next 2 to 3 years.

Looking for a summer red? This Cabernet Franc is worth a look as a variety you may not have tried. Food friendly. Companionable. Talkative. It generates interest, appreciation and consumption. A terrific wine to introduce to friends around

I had used thus for slow cooking braised beef, as a taste it was bold, not over powering, 100% would recommend
