Attravtively plum coloured with medium density, this shows red and black currant varietal notes with a savoury, leafy edge and that tell-tale Coonawarra “giveaway” of mint on the finish. There’s even a pleasant touch of spice. This serves to provide extra freshness and lift to the fruit.
A pleasant all-rounder that would match well with some prime Limestone Coast spring lamb.
