Greenock CreekApricot Block Shiraz
About this product
Apricot brings all the boys and girls to the yard. Location is everything in this stone fruit possessed beauty. The Shiraz vineyard was planted on the site of an old Marananga apricot orchard. There’s no denying Mother Nature’s hand in the dried apricot notes this wine delivers. Close your eyes and you’ll almost mistake it for Cabernet. That is, until you’re distracted by the black cherries, chocolate orange, Jaffa and citrus pith flavours. It’s head-snapping, toe-tapping, downright delicious. Chewy tannin coats the tongue and hints at longevity for decades to come. This is a real head-turner and conversation starter. An apricot by any other name would certainly not smell so sweet. - Katie Spain.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
