About this product

Founded in 1933 Cave de Tain is located at the foot of the hill of Hermitage between Valencia and Lyon. The historic property is a local co-op (one of the best in France) with over 300 grower-members and 1000 hectares of vineyards making it the main producer of wines in Northern Rhône Valley.
This St Peray is from hand-picked grapes off 40 years old vines. Storage in cold temperature 24 hours before pressing, to protect gustative qualities. Protection against oxidation and selection of the best juice, cold clarification. Partial fermentation in barrels and in thermo-regulated vats. One third of the wine undergoes malo.

Delightful, loads of flavour, and with elegance. It is full bodied and the finish is dry and satisfying. A fine example of Rhone Marsanne.
