Côte du Py is the most famous climat in Morgon, with wines that are considered to be the best representations of Morgon. The black volcanic soil produces complex, structured age-worthy reds; This example was produced from 100% gamay grown on vines aged between 35 and 40 years. From the dream vintage of 2018, the wine offers great depth and structure with succulence and velvety tannins.

Just when you think Beaujolais is light and fluffy

Wow, if you thought that Beaujolais was just a light pleasant drink, well cop this. Big, fruity and bursting with flavour, this will knock your socks off. So much to enjoy, great fruit nuances and just so enjoyable. Back for more.

It’s Beaujolais, so it’s different, very different from Aussie styles. But this is a really good example of the more serious side of the style. Light to medium body, perfumed, good length. Try it for something different.

Generic Beaujolais is lovely, soft-drinking light red. But there are also twelve named Villages which take it to a higher level. Morgon is one of these and this is a fine example. Maybe you'll make your Boeuf Bourguignon or your Coq au Vin
