The Macallan was one of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed. Since then we have built a reputation as one of the world’s leading single malt whiskies. The creation of The Macallan draws on the vital contributing influences of Spain, North America and Scotland - and of their respective natural rawmaterials, combined with traditional methods and craftsmanship.

At The Macallan we are guided at all time by our Six Pillars – Mastery, Exceptional Oak Casks, Sherry Seasoned, Natural Colour, Curiously Small Stills, The Macallan Estate. These are fundamental principles that act as a compass for everything we do. Our DNA, our core values, ideas and places that make us who we are run a red thread through everything we do.
