TEQUILA & MEZCAL

Made from blue agave - native to the central western highlands of Mexico - it's bound by a clearly defined geographic and agricultural footprint, including denomination of origin laws that state tequila can only be made in a small number of Mexican states (predominantly Jalisco). Other regions produce Mezcal - also made from the agave plant - but tequila must be made from the blue agave to earn its esteemed title.
