The Parker Estate story is one of ambition and craftsmanship. When John Parker planted the Abbey Vineyard in 1985, he believed that with the right patch of dirt, the right climate and the right clones, he could craft Cabernet to rival the greatest in the world. He did, and we continue to do so today.
The original 16-hectare Abbey Vineyard, established with Reynella Selection cuttings traced back to old Bordeaux stock, remains the backbone of the estate. Today, our winemakers, with more than seventy years of collective experience, continue this legacy with a focus on diligent vineyard care and a minimal-intervention philosophy in the winery.
Still proudly family-owned and recognised as a Halliday 5 Red Star Winery, Parker Estate remains committed to crafting wines of enduring quality.
