It was this unrelenting passion for excellence that inspired his creation of the world's first luxury tequila.Don Julio tequila is crafted from 100% blue weber agave cultivated in the highlands of Jalisco where our Jimadors painstakingly harvest plant by plant, expertedly assessing the age and health of every agave. To increase the quality of their harvest, they handpick and uniformly handcut the agave pencas (leaves) from the piña. The result?
