About Chapel Hill
Chapel Hill is a name that honours both a rich community history and a legendary winemaking legacy. Taking its name from the iconic 19th-century ironstone chapel in McLaren Vale, South Australia, the site was transformed into a winery in 1972 by Adelaide professor Tom Nelson.
Chapel Hill’s winemaking philosophy honours sustainable practices and the development of expressive McLaren Vale and single vineyard styles—achieved through an uncompromising respect for the land, the vines, nature, and people.
