Bordeaux 2022

The 2022 Bordeaux vintage is widely considered exceptional by critics, with wines characterized by ripe fruit, freshness, and balance, often compared to very highly rated 2005 vintage. The vintage benefited from a hot, dry summer, but ample rainfall in June and cool nights helped create balance and prevent overripeness, which created concentrated wines with enough acidity despite the heat. All major grapes performed well, resulting in small berries with healthy skins and concentrated juice. The quality is high across both the Right and Left Banks and there is some wonderful value to be had
