Arrogant Frog is a wine that proudly embraces its Mediterranean origins yet leaps out of the glass with a friendly and inviting New World attitude. To obtain the fruit-driven and unique style that defines Arrogant Frog, its creator Jean-Claude Mas (the “Humble Winemaker”) harvests grapes coming from the hillsides of the five main valleys of the Languedoc region: the Aude, Orb, Hérault, Peyne and Uzès valley.

Jean-Claude Mas shows that with creativity, know-how and a sense of humour, one can make South of France wines shine around the world at a reasonable price!

This Cabernet-Merlot boasts a deep ruby color. Its nose is elegant and complex, revealing aromas of ripe black fruits and blackcurrant leaf, interwoven with spicy notes of liquorice and vanilla. On the palate, it is well-balanced, with smooth tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Best served at 17°C, it pairs excellently with red meat, cheeses, and barbecues.

This Sauvignon Blanc presents a pale lemon color with green tints. Its nose is aromatic, offering lemon and lime notes combined with gooseberry, grapefruit, and a hint of fresh cut grass. On the palate, it is well-balanced with a refreshing acidity and notes of exotic fruits. Best served at 12°C, it pairs wonderfully with sushi, seafood, salads, and fresh goat cheese.

This Rosé boasts a lovely cherry pink color. Its nose is floral, with enticing aromas of stone fruits like white peach. On the palate, it is juicy, supple, delicate, and fresh. Best served at 8-10°C, it is superb as an aperitif and pairs ideally with a salmon terrine, courgette salad with herbs, pine nuts and pink berries, or ham sliced on the bone. With proper storage conditions, it can be cellared for 2-3 years.
