Discover Margaret River Chardonnay

The Margaret River wine region is only 50 years old but it has already established a reputation for producing first-class Chardonnay. The region's moderate maritime climate is heavily influenced by the warm Indian Ocean, making it the perfect place to grow ripe and rounded Chardonnays famous for stone fruit characters, trademark grapefruit notes and balanced acidity.

Mad Fish Gold Turtle Chardonnay

Mad Fish’s Gold Turtle range is designed to capture the best of Margaret River at wallet-friendly prices. This Chardonnay is known for its opulent honey and peach flavours. It's bright and fresh, with minimal oak and a hint of grapefruit.

Once & Well Chardonnay

Second-generation winemaker Freya Hohnen (father David Hohnen is co-founder of Cape Mentelle) produces some of the region’s best chardonnays. This elegant example has ripe stone fruit and spring florals with hints of spice and oak.

Deep Woods Hillside Chardonnay

Deep Woods’ winemaker Julian Langworthy is Halliday Wine Companion’s Winemaker of the Year for 2019. With just a touch of oak, his Chardonnay shows generous stone fruit characters and oyster shell minerality.

Xanadu Chardonnay

This estate-grown and barrel-fermented Chardonnay classically captures Margaret River’s sophisticated style, with notes of pears and white stone fruits set against a creamy mouthfeel and underlying secondary characters of nougat, wafers, and oatmeal.
