This cocktail is part sanger, part doughnut and 100% delicious.
About the cocktail
Most of us can relate to the utter joy of rewarding ourselves with a “just because” treat. One of our faves is a peanut butter and jam sandwich (AKA PB&J), with the nutty-sweet duo combining perfectly with each bite. And how long has it been since you had a freshly fried jam doughnut? All that cinnamon sugar coating your fingers as you tuck into that warm, jammy prize. Well, consider this cocktail an ode to both of those delights. This is a tasty dose of nutty doughnut-esque deliciousness that we just know you’ll love. When it comes to sweeter Martinis, this is unlike any you’ve tasted before. A grown-up twist on a classic, the PB&J Martini is serving after-dinner decadence. In fact, we created this recipe with indulgence in mind, celebrating peanut butter in all its rich, satisfying glory. Think PB&J meets jam doughnut meets thickshake. Just less lunch and more late-night luxe. Flavour-wise, the PB&J ‘tini is a meld of vodka, Frangelico, Chambord, peanut butter and cream. It’s giving adult dessert bar. With its delectable creamy, fruity and nutty flavours, this beauty is velvety smooth and hard to pass up. Cocktail hour, or cocktail after-hours, here we come.

Dan’s top tips
The quality of the peanut butter here is essential – think of it the way you’d use a fine spirit or a high-quality chocolate as it makes all the difference in the mix. Smooth peanut butter is ideal for a lush, velvety texture (though if you’re a crunchy fan, go wild, we won’t yuck your yum). This cocktail’s fusion of bold raspberry liqueur, nutty hazelnut and peanut butter hits the sweet spot between dessert and drink, with a touch of cream for balance and texture. As always, dial down the cream or liquor elements as you see fit, or feel free to swap out the vodka base for a more caramel-esque whisky. Finished with a playful rim of cinnamon sugar (conveniently found in the spice aisle, so there’s no need for DIY), this sweet ‘tini is as pretty as it’s delicious. Want to go all out on the PB&J theme? Whip up the OG sandwich, cut it into slices and pop a piece on the side as a garnish.
