This cool climate expression of Shiraz is the beneficiary of the philosophy, methodology and stylistic approach applied to its more senior stablemates. The aim for this blend was to achieve a balance of weight, immediacy, generosity and drinkability with subtle restraint. Enticing aromas of red berries, white pepper, Russian Caravan tea, porcini mushroom broth, musk stick, nutmeg, fennel, peat herbal mutterings of stalks. The juicy palate evokes a red dark fruit balance redolent of red cherry mulberry with a spice influence of sumac tamarind paste. Dark chocolate and smoked paprika flavours combine to elongate the detailed palate. A fine acidity draws the palate long with talc-like tannins inlaid, building fruit weight to a resonant finish. Suitable for vegans.
