A lighter and sweeter dry stout. Its flavour is evocative of caramel and malt, and Murphy's is free from any hint of carbonation, it is delivered "black as strong cappuccino" with an inch of foam - "the head" - on top. The head, in particular, is lauded for its remarkably thick and creamy nature and its "spoonable" density.

I love the taste of Murphy,s Stout I also like the taste of Guinness but I much prefer Murphy,s I find it hard to believe that Dan Murphy,s do not stock it !

Murphy's Stout is far superior to Guinness. I so much wish Dan Murohy's would stock this again. Unfortunarely Guinness branding & aggressive marketing push this wonderful stout of stores. BRING IT BACK DAN MURPHY'S!

Why can't Dans organise the importing of Murphy's stout again ? Absolute mothers milk - less bitter and so much better than Guinness or any other local stout. Missing it very much ...
