Subscription Terms & Conditions
By subscribing to a subscription with Dan Murphy’s you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Subscription Terms & Conditions) which are to be read in conjunction with Dan Murphy’s Terms and Conditions. If there are any inconsistencies between these terms, the Subscription Terms & Conditions will prevail.
1. General
Dan Murphy’s will send you regular deliveries of wines in line with the subscription you have subscribed to.
Your subscription will automatically be charged for each order based on the billing cycle of your chosen subscription. Your subscription will automatically continue unless altered or cancelled, which can be done through the subscription tab in your My Dan’s account or call our Subscription Team on 1800 505 605 during opening hours (9:30am - 5:30pm AEST Monday - Friday). This line will be closed on 26th September 2024.
You can find the details of your subscription at any time in your My Dan’s account. If you have trouble you can also find further information in our Help Centre.
Dan Murphy’s reserves the right to limit sales to retail quantities. You are not permitted to resell products or use products for trade purposes.
2. Delivery
First Subscription Box
We will dispatch your first box as indicated during sign up, so you can start enjoying your wines straight away. You should receive your order confirmation within 24 hours of signing up. All subsequent boxes will be delivered according to your subscription’s billing cycle.
Delivery Notification
We will notify you of your subscription box details and billing date prior to each delivery via a service email. The billing date for your subscription will also be available on your My Dan’s account.
You are permitted to make changes or cancel your subscription at any time prior to your next subscription being billed. You are permitted to skip your subscription delivery up to 3 days prior to your delivery subscription being billed. If you do not update your preferences in your dashboard prior to dispatch, your subscription will be dispatched as per your delivery notification and your credit card will be charged. Your subscription box will follow the delivery instructions listed on your My Dan’s account.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct contact details (delivery address and email address) are up-to-date. You can update your contact details through your My Dan’s account.
Free Delivery
Except for those postcodes identified as ‘Non-delivery postcodes’, free standard delivery is available nationwide for all subscription boxes. It is not, however, applicable to any additional orders made through Dan Murphy’s unless otherwise stated at the time of ordering.
Dan Murphy’s reserves the right to modify or cancel the free delivery offer in accordance with clause 11 of these terms and conditions.
Non Delivery Postcodes
Subscription deliveries align with Dan Murphy’s policy on non-delivery postcodes.
In line with our commitment to the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and as a signatory of Retail Drinks Australia’s Online Code of Conduct, there are several postcodes in Australia to which we do not deliver under any circumstances. A list of the non-delivery postcodes can be found at the bottom of the page linked here.
Delivery Timings
All subscriptions are sent using Dan Murphy’s standard delivery.
Your first order will leave the warehouse as indicated during sign up, and then you will receive a new selection of wines per your subscription billing cycle.
3. Automatic Billing
Subscriptions are an ongoing service and will be automatically billed in line with the billing cycle of your chosen subscription.
The cost of your subscription will be charged to the active card listed on your My Dan’s account. Dan Murphy’s takes the protection of your data seriously, to find out more please refer to our Privacy Policy.
No discount or offer can be applied to the cost of your subscription unless otherwise stated.
4. Altering or Cancelling
You may update your details, skip or cancel your subscription through the subscription tab on your My Dan’s account. If you require assistance you can find further information in our Help Centre or by calling us on 1800 505 605 during opening hours (9:30am - 5:30pm AEST Monday - Friday). This line will be closed on 26th September 2024.
Skipping Your Subscription
If you wish to skip your subscription you can do so through the subscription tab in your My Dan’s account. You are only able to skip your subscription if you action this at least 3 days prior to your billing date. If you do not skip your subscription prior to this cut off, your subscription will be dispatched as per your delivery notification and your credit card will be charged.
A future delivery can only be skipped if it is your next upcoming delivery. If you choose to skip your next delivery, you must do so 3 days prior to your delivery subscription being billed.
Cancelling Your Subscription
If you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time prior to your next billing date through the subscription tab in your My Dan’s account or by calling us on 1800 505 605 during opening hours (9:30am - 5:30pm AEST Monday - Friday). This line will be closed on 26th September 2024. If you don’t cancel your subscription prior to your next billing date your subscription will be dispatched as per your delivery notification and your credit card will be charged.
5. Dan Picked Promise
As a subscription customer (including Cellarmasters subscribers), we want to make sure that you enjoy your wines, which is why you’re entitled to our Dan Picked Promise.
If you’re at all unhappy with your wines, and it's been less than a year since delivery, get in touch with our Customer Service Team via the Help Centre and we’ll arrange a refund or replacement of the affected wines.
The Dan Picked Promise is only available to your subscription box or products within your subscription and is not transferable and does not apply to any other purchase from Dan Murphy’s.
While we will work to replace your box or products within your box, some stock limitations may prevent us from arranging a full replacement.
You may be required to return the products that are to be refunded or replaced.
The Dan Picked Promise is not available for excessive or unreasonable use, meaning you can exercise the Dan Picked Promise no more than 2 subscription boxes in a row.

Dan Murphy’s reserves the right to modify or cancel the Dan Picked Promise in accordance with clause 11 of these terms and conditions.

6. Alternate Product
All products (including vintages of products) in subscription boxes are subject to availability. In some cases, products that were planned to be included in subscription boxes may become unavailable. If a product becomes unavailable, an alternative product of equal or greater value will be substituted at no additional cost.
Where a product has been substituted in a subscription box, tasting notes for the substituted product may not be available.
7. Payment Failure
If your subscription payment fails on the billing date for any reason (including but not limited to credit card expiry or invalid card details), we will not dispatch your subscription and will notify you via email. Attempts to retry payment will be made over the following week.
Our Subscription Team may also attempt to contact you to assist you with updating your details and processing your payment. To update your details over the phone, please contact the Subscription Team on 1800 505 605 during opening hours (9:30am - 5:30pm AEST Monday - Friday). This line will be closed on 26th September 2024.
To update your payment details online, login to your My Dan’s account and visit the “Subscriptions” tab. Update your payment details within the “Billed In” section for each subscription.
Delivery after you have updated your payment method;
- You will receive your subscription order and your payment will be deducted if you update your payment details within 30 calendar days of the previous billing date.
- You will not receive your subscription order if you update your payment details more than 30 calendar days after the previous billing date. Your payment will not be deducted for this order. Your subscription will then continue as usual - as per your “Billed In” date.

We value your trust and take the protection of your personal information very seriously. Endeavour Group Limited trading as Dan Murphy’s (77 159 767 843) collects your personal information when you place an order with Dan Murphy’s. 10. Cellarmasters Subscriptions
Automatic Delivery
If you have subscribed to a Cellarmasters subscription, Dan Murphy’s will regularly send you a case of selected wines in line with the subscription you had with Cellarmasters. Call our Subscription Team on 1800 505 605 during opening hours (9:30am - 5:30pm AEST Monday - Friday) to discuss the details of your Cellarmasters subscription. This line will be closed on 26th September 2024.
Delivering Your Cellarmasters subscription
Prior to dispatch of each Cellarmasters subscription, Dan Murphy’s will notify you of when you can expect your credit card to be charged prior to each delivery. Your box will be delivered to the address we have on record for you. Please ensure that the contact details we hold on record for you (address and email address) are up-to-date.
Altering or Cancelling
You may skip any scheduled delivery or cancel your Cellarmasters subscription through the subscription tab on your My Dan’s account or by calling us on 1800 505 605 during opening hours (9:30am - 5:30pm AEST Monday - Friday). This line will be closed on 26th September 2024.
If you wish to skip your upcoming subscription box, you must do so 3 days prior to the deadline indicated in your pre-delivery notification.
If you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time through the subscription tab in your My Dan’s account.
If you don’t notify Dan Murphy’s before your billing date, Dan Murphy’s will dispatch a box to you and charge your credit card in line with your subscription. If you have received a box and do not wish to retain it, please call us on 1800 505 605. This line will be closed on 26th September 2024.
Dan Murphy’s may make changes to your Cellarmasters subscription from time to time. If these changes affect you we will notify you within 7 days.
11. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Dan Murphy’s reserves the right to modify or cancel subscriptions at any time with at least 7 days’ notice to you. This includes, but is not limited to, changing the prices of subscription boxes. You are free to cancel your subscription without penalty in accordance with clause 4 if we modify any aspect of the subscription.
