How should I protect my identity on your website and other social media platforms?
You can easily protect yourself online by using these tips:
- Ensure that https://www.danmurphys.com.au/ is in the address bar of your browser
- Remember to logout when finished
- Avoid logging into My Dan's account on computers in public places such as internet cafes
- Keep your devices up to date with the latest software (including any antivirus)
Be aware of phishing Emails/ SMS
If you receive any suspicious emails, SMS or social media messages pretending to come from Dan Murphy's, please:
- Check our SCAM alert page here
- Forward the email or a screenshot of the SMS to hoax@edg.com.au
- Do not click on any links or attachments
- Delete the message immediately
- Visit SCAM Watch and Stay Smart Online for more information about how to recognize SCAMs and protect yourself online
All communication from us will always come from an @danmurphys.com.au or @email.dansnews.com.au email address, and we will never email anyone who hasn't signed up to our mailing list - legitimate correspondence will never be unsolicited.
Any genuine promotional material sent to you from Dan Murphy's will also be listed on your account internally for reference.
We strongly recommend that you report scam emails to the Government-run watchdog Scam Watch at - https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam.
Alternatively, please send a screenshot of this email to hoax@woolworths.com.au so we can investigate and report it directly.
